One of the most valuable lessons about wealth is this: it’s not how much you earn, but how much you keep.

There’s a story in The Richest Man in Babylon where a wise (and wealthy) man asked people what they do for a living in order to demonstrate a point. what is inflation your wealthy mind
Tagalog Version (Click Here)

For example, some people were praising the unusually high inflation rate like it’s a good thing, and they don’t seem to understand how bad the situation was especially as they say other countries experience it too.

Some people also mistakenly thought that the higher rate was because there was an increase in the number of jobs and the income increase was devaluing the peso, when that’s actually false (this was a “cost-push” type thanks to a then-recent tax law that also has an excise tax on fuel).

So what’s inflation anyway? Let’s discuss the basics, so keep reading to learn more!
