Always remember that when you delegate a task, your subordinate should fully understand what is it that you want. Delegating a particular task does not mean that you are not responsible for the outcome or the result of the assignment, which is why it is crucial that you still provide support to your subordinates.
You can provide adequate support to your subordinates by being available when they have questions or concerns regarding the task assigned. Additionally, you must continue in giving them constructive criticism or feedback, and guiding them when they feel lost or swamped.
