Paano Yumaman? (Higit sa Stocks, Bonds, at Mutual Funds)

Malamang itinanong na natin sa ating sarili kung paano yumaman at naghanap tayo ng mga libro at articles para sa sagot. Malamang, nahanap natin ang “mag-ipon ng kaunting pera at mag-invest” at kung paano ang pag-invest sa mga stocks, bonds, at mutual funds sa mahabang panahon ay makakapagpayaman sa atin balang araw (itinuturo ko iyon sa iba kong articles). Ang kailangang itanong naman natin ngayon ay iyon lang ba ang dapat nating pagpuhunan?

Ituloy pa natin ang ideang ito. Ang karamihan ba ng mga mayayaman yumaman dahil doon lamang? Sabi ng isang bestselling author at researcher na nagsurvey at naginterview ng ilang-daang milyonaryo, hindi.

We’ve all asked ourselves “how can I get rich?” and started searching books and articles for answers. Most likely, we found “save a little money every paycheck and invest it” and how investing in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds over time can someday make you wealthy (I teach that in several of my articles as well). The question now however, is that are those the only things you can or should invest on?

To take things further, did most, if not all wealthy people earn their wealth through them alone? Well, one bestselling author and researcher who surveyed and interviewed hundreds of millionaires say they didn’t.

Oportunidad o Pagkabigo: Makukuha mo ang Iyong Pinag-iisipan

“Thoughts are things” (Napoleon Hill), “ano man ang palagi mong pinag-iisipan ay dadami”, at “hanapin mo at makakamit mo” (Matteo 7:7). Ano mang pag-isipan mo kapag wala kang ginagawa ang magiging batayan ng palagi mong makikita at makakamit: Oportunidad o Pagkabigo. Ang pinag-iisipan , pinaniniwalaan, at perspectives mo ang magiging batayan ng iyong pananaw sa mundo.

  • Ang iba nakakakita ng isang bakanteng lote… ang iba naman nakakakita ng posibleng sakahan o shopping mall.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng kalsadang puno ng pagod na trabahador… ang iba naman nakakakita ng kalsadang nangangailangan ng restaurant o cafe.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng laptop para sa games at facebook… ang iba nakakakita ng kagamitan para sa online business.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng luma at sirang mga bahay…ang iba nakakakita ng renovation at decoration business opportunity.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng taong walang trabaho… ang iba naman nakakakita ng posibleng entrepreneur o empleyado.
  • Ang iba nakikita na wala silang oras dahil sa matagal na commute… ang iba nakakakita ng panahon para magbasa ng business o investing books habang nasa bus o tren.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng panahon para manood ng TV… ang iba nakakakita ng panahon para pag-aralan ang mga investments.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng perang maipangsusugal… ang iba nakakakita ng perang pwedeng i-invest para sa kanilang kinabukasan.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng libro tungkol sa finance, business, o investing na nagkakahalagang P500 at iniisip nilang napakamahal nito… ang iba nakakakakita ng kaalamang pwede nilang gamitin para kumita ng sampung milyong piso.
  • Ang iba nakikita na mahihirap sila… ang iba naman nakikita na pwede silang magsikap para yumaman.
  • Ang iba nakakakita ng lahat ng problema at limitasyon sa buhay… ang iba nakikita nila ang kanilang mga biyaya at oportunidad.

Uulitin ko: Ang iyong pinag-iisipan, pinaniniwalaan, at perspectives ang magiging batayan mga oportunidad o problemang mahahanap o makakaligtaan mo, pati na rin ang mga gagawin mo tungkol dito. Ano ang pananaw mo sa mundo?

Opportunities or Failure: You get what you Think About

“Thoughts are things” (Napoleon Hill), “what you focus on and think about expands”, and “seek and you will find” (Matthew 7:7). Whatever you think about during your free time determines what you will consistently see AND what you will always get: Opportunities or Failure. Your thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives determine your worldview.

  • Some people see an empty field… others see a possible farmland or a shopping mall.
  • Some people see a street full of tired commuters… others see a street that needs a restaurant or a cafe.
  • Some people see a laptop for games and facebook… others see an online business tool.
  • Some people see old and broken houses… others see a renovation and decoration business opportunity.
  • Some people see an unemployed person… others see a potential entrepreneur or employee.
  • Some people see that they have no time because of their long commutes… others see free time to read business and investing books while on the bus or train.
  • Some people see free time to waste and watch TV after work… others see time to study investments.
  • Some people see money they can spend on gambling… others see money they can invest for their future.
  • Some people see a book on finance, business, or investing that costs $10 and think it’s expensive… others see knowledge that can let them earn $10 million.
  • Some people see that they’re poor… others see that they can someday become rich.
  • Some people see all their problems and limitations in life… others see all their blessings and opportunities.

Again, your thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives determine the opportunities and problems that you notice or ignore as well as how you act upon them. How do you see the world around you?
