By the way, I had a much better experience on this year’s withdrawal attempt thanks to the AFPSLAI ATM Card. Instead of the usual four or five hour wait time from the numbered queue, I was done in less than 10 minutes. While I still needed to commute to the branch, AFPSLAI did announce that they will someday connect it to Bancnet which will let us withdraw from almost any ATM in the Philippines. Paano Kumuha ng AFPSLAI ATM Card

Alam mo ba na mayroon nang ATM card ang AFPSLAI? Kung nais mong magkaroon noon, narito ang ang isang maikling guide para makakuha ka rin noon!

Kung ikaw ay nakapag-ipon at nag-invest ng pera sa AFPSLAI (ang Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loans Association, Inc.), malamang alam mo na ang tungkol sa kanilang mga passbook. Alam mo na rin kung paano over-the-counter ang pag-withdraw ng pera, pati na rin ang iba pang mga transaksyon tulad noon. Dahil manual o mano-mano ang mga proseso, madalas mas-mabagal ang mga transaksyon kumpara sa mga ordinaryong banko.

Noong ika-11 ng Abril, 2023, inilabas ng AFPSLAI ang kanilang ATM card para pwede nang makapag-withdraw ng pera gamit ang kanilang lokal na automated teller machines (ATMs). Kumpara sa passbook, ang sistemang iyon ay higit na nagpapabilis at nagpapadali sa pag-withdraw at pag-check ng iyong balanse. Isa pang mabuting balita, plano nilang i-link ang sistema nila sa Bancnet para pwede mo nang magamit ang iyong AFPSLAI ATM card sa halos kahit anong ATM ng sa ating bansa.

Kung ang AFPSLAI branch na pinupuntahan mo ay may kakayahang mag-print ng mga cards na iyon at mayroon na din silang ATM sa kanilang gusali, edi bakit hindi ka na rin kumuha nito? Magiging mas madali ang pag-withdraw ng pera. Kung nais mong kumuha ng AFPSLAI ATM card (na iyo ring AFPSLAI ID), narito ang ilang mga bagay na kailangan mong malaman.

How to Get an AFPSLAI ATM Card

Did you know that AFPSLAI now has an ATM card? If you want one too, then here’s a short guide on how to get your own!

If you’ve saved and invested your money in AFPSLAI (the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loans Association, Inc.), then you probably already know about their passbooks and how withdrawals and most of their other transactions are over the counter. Because a lot of things are done manually, transactions are usually slower than most banks.

Last April 11, 2023, AFPSLAI finally launched their ATM card which will let you withdraw money from your accounts using their local automated teller machines (ATMs). Compared to the passbook, that system makes withdrawals and balance inquiries so much faster and more convenient. What’s even better is that they plan to link their system to Bancnet which will allow you to use your AFPSLAI ATM card on just about any ATM in the Philippines.
