Want to know the AFPSLAI Capital Contribution Account (CCA) dividend release schedule for 2024? You can check it out here! By the way, I had a much better experience on this year’s withdrawal attempt thanks to the AFPSLAI ATM Card. Instead of the usual four or five hour wait time from the numbered queue, I was done in less than 10 minutes. While I still needed to commute to the branch, AFPSLAI did announce that they will someday connect it to Bancnet which will let us withdraw from almost any ATM in the Philippines. If you want to get your own card, you can read our guide on how to get an AFPSLAI ATM card on this link.[Read more…]
Did you know that AFPSLAI now has an ATM card? If you want one too, then here’s a short guide on how to get your own!
If you’ve saved and invested your money in AFPSLAI (the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loans Association, Inc.), then you probably already know about their passbooks and how withdrawals and most of their other transactions are over the counter. Because a lot of things are done manually, transactions are usually slower than most banks.
Last April 11, 2023, AFPSLAI finally launched their ATM card which will let you withdraw money from your accounts using their local automated teller machines (ATMs). Compared to the passbook, that system makes withdrawals and balance inquiries so much faster and more convenient. What’s even better is that they plan to link their system to Bancnet which will allow you to use your AFPSLAI ATM card on just about any ATM in the Philippines.
If the AFPSLAI branch that you go to can print those cards and if they also have an ATM in the building, then why not get one for yourself? It will make withdrawals so much easier. If you want to get your AFPSLAI ATM card (which is also your AFPSLAI ID), then here’s what you need to know.[Read more…]
Some good news: For the 4th quarter of 2021 which was released on January 2022, the AFPSLAI Capital Contribution Account (CCA) dividend rate for that quarter is at 4%. We don’t know if it will be consistent for the rest of the year onwards, but it’s at least much better than the 9% we got for most of 2020.
