Habang nagbabasa ako sa reddit, may nagmessage sa akin at magtanong tungkol sa pag invest sa mutual funds. Sinubukan kong tumulong at magbigay ng impormasyon (tulad ng nasa dati kong isinulat na articles). Habang nakikipagusap ako sa isang redditor, nagtanong siya tungkol sa kung paano gumagana ang compound interest sa funds at stocks. Sinagot ko na hindi directa ang pagapekto nito dahil ang mga investment ay naaapektohan ng kalidad ng kumpanya at ng paggalaw ng market. Gayunpaman, ang compounding ay mabuting paraan para ipaliwanag kung bakit kailangan mong mag invest ng maaga at mag invest madalas sa mga mabubuting assets kapag pangarap mong kumita ng marami sa pagdaan ng panahon.

While browsing reddit, somebody asked about investing in mutual funds through PM and I tried to help them as best as I can by providing information that I know (like my previous articles on it). While I was chatting with one of the redditors, they asked me how compound interest works on funds and stocks. I answered that it doesn’t directly work that way as most investments are affected by the quality of the company and the markets movements. Compounding, however, is a good way to explain why you should invest early, and invest often in excellent assets if you want to earn a lot over time.

Noong October 24, 2017, inilunsad ng First Metro Investment Corporation at MSCI, Inc. ang isang bagong customized stock index na tinatawag nilang First Metro Index on MSCI Philippines IMI.

Ang First Metro Investment Corporation ay bahagi ng Metrobank group at ito ay isa sa pinakamalaking investment banks sa Pilipinas. Ito’y nakatanggap ng ilang awards katulad ng Best Investment Bank of 2016 mula sa Global Finance magazine at Euromoney, ilang Best Bond House awards mula sa FinanceAsia, at marami pang iba. Gamit ang kanilang subsidiary na First Metro Asset Management, Inc.
