Ano ang Subconscious Mind? – Isang Maikling Aralin

April 22, 2023 by Ray L. Leave a Comment

English Version (Click Here)

Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

— Carl Jung

What is the Subconscious Mind? – A Quick Explainer

Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

— Carl Jung

Everything we do and everything that we are, our successes and failures, happiness and despair, all come from how we use our mind. While we can control most of our thoughts, it’s the part which we cannot directly control which has the biggest impact in our lives. It’s called the subconscious, and it’s so important that Carl Jung, one of the most famous psychologists in the world, calls it the basis of our destiny. While we cannot directly control it, we can, however, influence and improve it in order to improve our quality of life.

Why did I write this article? While most people in the Western world know about the subconscious, not a lot of people in the Philippines where I am from understand it. In fact, they think mental and psychological disorders like depression and anxiety are just people being overdramatic (“kaartehan”), and that patients just need to pray to get “cured”. It’s not. They’re as real as high blood pressure and diabetes, but they’re illnesses affecting the neurochemicals in the brain. Just like how prayers cannot instantly lower cholesterol levels or regrow chopped off limbs, they’re not direct cures for psychological issues like depression, anxiety, autism, and others like them.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s start the lesson!

Why we create short guides

March 8, 2021 by Ray L. Leave a Comment

It’s very important to expand your horizons if you want to open your mind to the possibilities that you can achieve in life, and that’s why I believe reading books and articles about wealth, success, and prosperity is important. Still, we must never forget to stay grounded. Timeless wisdom may be incredibly valuable, but there are times when the things that will help people the most are lessons on how to do the mundane and ordinary.

So why do create short guides? Read more below!

Paano Iwasan ang mga Online Scams: SMS Spoofing at Phishing

September 7, 2020 by Ray L. 1 Comment

paano iwasan ang mga Scams Online SMS Spoofing at Phishing your wealthy mind
English Version (Click Here)

How to Avoid Scams Online: SMS Spoofing and Phishing

How to Avoid Scams Online SMS Spoofing and Phishing your wealthy mind
Tagalog Version (Click Here)

While I’ve already made a previous article about how to avoid scams online, this version is mostly about phishing and SMS spoofing scams which are becoming more common in the Philippines. If you don’t want to lose thousands or even millions of pesos to those kinds of scams, then keep reading to learn more about them and how to avoid them.

First off, to give you a picture of how phishing scams work, imagine you’re in a mall buying groceries. Suddenly, a “worker from an electric company” comes up to you and asks you for your name, home address, and the keys to your house because they need to “verify things”.

Will you give them your house keys?

You don’t want to? What if they say they’ll cut off your electricity if you refuse? Will you give them your address and house keys then?

Yeah, you probably already know that it’s OBVIOUSLY a scam, but people fall for that kind of thing ONLINE. That is exactly how phishing scams work, but instead of a scammer wearing a fake uniform and fake ID, it’s a text message or an email asking for your password, One-time PINs (OTPs), verification codes, and other important personal information.

Never give anyone your password, PINs, and OTPs as those are the “keys” to your accounts. REAL bank and company employees will never ask for that information, but criminals almost always do.
