English Version (Click Here)

They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.

— Tom Bodett

Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.

― Epicurus

We dream to give ourselves hope. To stop dreaming – well, that’s like saying you can never change your fate.

― Amy Tan

The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveler than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination.

― Marion Zimmer Bradley

We must free ourselves of the hope that the sea will ever rest. We must learn to sail in high winds.

— Aristotle Onassis

20 Quotes about Hope (for when things seem Hopeless)

20 Quotes about Hope for when things seem Hopeless your wealthy mind
Tagalog Version (Click Here)

There will be times when our problems seem too much for us to handle. Times when all hope seems lost, we’ve suffered more than enough, and it feels like it will be much easier to just give up and just stop everything.

Unfortunately, there are some things we just can’t or shouldn’t give up on, and we need to keep going until the bitter end. Our family has been going through tough times lately because of a certain corporation’s plans, and their project will severely harm our family’s quality of life. We’ve been going through so much stress thanks to them. Still, even though they intend to continue the project that would despite the harm that they’ll cause, we will not give up.

For tough times like these, here are a few quotes I found that can reignite your sense of hope. When you’re going through difficult problems, I hope they’ll inspire you to keep fighting until the very end.

They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.

— Tom Bodett

Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.

Isang Araw May Mga Sumubok Manloko sa Akin…

Isang Araw May Mga Sumubok Manloko sa Akin your wealthy mind
English Version (Click Here)

The Time Some People Tried to Scam Me…

The Time Some People Tried to Scam Me your wealthy mind
Tagalog Version (Click Here)

Before I travel to any new country, I always check for common scams and crimes that my family and I should watch out for. From taxis with overcharging meters, pickpockets, and overpriced bar scams, criminals use all sorts of ploys to grab some quick cash from unsuspecting victims. For this article, I’ll tell you about one time some people tried to scam me when I was way younger.

Looking back at it. there were so many things wrong with their attempt that I don’t know if they ever fooled anyone with it. It was still a very interesting experience, however, so I wanted to share it with you all.

The time some people tried to scam me…

I was a young and innocent college freshman when it happened, and I remember because I was still carrying that big green plastic duffel bag that I first used college. I was a sheltered scholar boy less than a year out of high school back then so although I knew there were scammers out there, I never thought any of them would try to target me. After all, I was just some poor financial aid scholar, not some rich tourist or businessman.

Anyway, I remember that on the day it happened, I got out of class very early on that hot and dry summer afternoon. I was already at the last section of my commute home, and I only needed to walk a few minutes to get to my home. It was around 1pm at that time so although I was walking along a busy highway near a mall, there weren’t a lot of people around.

Midway through crossing a concrete bridge on the way to my house, an old man wearing a baseball cap, a t-shirt, and denim shorts started walking alongside me and said…

“Hey, did you see the foreigner who dropped that gold ring?”

That was the start of the clumsiest scam attempt I have ever experienced.

“Work Smarter, Not Harder” (Matalinong Diskarte, Hindi Pagpapagod): Tatlong Payo Tungkol sa Tagumpay at Pagsisikap

Work Smarter Not Harder Matalinong Diskarte Hindi Pagpapagod Tatlong Payo Tungkol sa Tagumpay at Pagsisikap your wealthy mind
English Version (Click Here)

Ano nga ba ang ibig sabihin ng “work smarter, not harder”?
