How to Break Free From the Past and Make a Life You Love and Deserve

how to break free from the past and make a life you love and deserve

*Article contributed by Daniel Delgado.

How to break free from the past and make a life you love and deserve is a question many of us struggle with on a daily basis. It is one that affects us all, at some point or another in our lives.

What happened in the past has an effect on our lives. Whether it is a childhood trauma or one that happened many years ago, we can all relate to it. It may have changed you for the better or worse.

We may be in a place now where it is difficult for us to look back on the past. It is part of our lives and something we would do anything to forget, even if it has made us who we are today. This can cause problems for you and us all.

What to Learn During Quarantine

What to Learn During Quarantine your wealthy mind

Due to the extended community quarantine (ECQ), we probably have a lot more free time now. Although the ECQ in Metro Manila officially ends on May 15, we should still continue social distancing and go out only for work and basic necessities. For now it seems the only way we’ll be safe is when we all get vaccinated against this pandemic.

Anyway, for today’s lesson, let’s look at what Orison Swett Marden, one of my favorite authors wrote:

Our todays are the blocks with which we build our future. If these are defective, the whole structure of our life will correspond… Power and fortune are hidden away in the hours and moments as they pass, awaiting the eye that can see, the ear that can hear, the hand that can do.

Unfortunately, right now it’s not that simple. While we tell ourselves that we should really use the time to be more productive, read more books, put more time towards our goals, maybe start a side business or something else, you probably find that it’s not that easy especially as time goes on.

Start Planning for Life AFTER Quarantine

April 18, 2020 by Ray L. 1 Comment

Start Planning for Life AFTER Quarantine your wealthy mind
Tagalog Version (Click Here)

It has already been over a month since our government ordered an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in our area, and we have several days to go before it ends on April 30th (if it doesn’t get extended). Research said that it takes around 21 days to get a new habit so by now most people have already settled into daily routines designed around the ECQ.

We have to remember, however, that this pandemic will NOT last forever. Aside from a lot of us returning to office work and students returning to school, we’ll still need to finish the things that we needed to do before this all happened.

While I’d personally recommend that we continue to practice social distancing and go out only when necessary, we have to start planning for the work that needs to be done after the quarantine ends. Are there things that you need to do for your job, business, or your household soon? Do you have licenses, clearances or registrations that you need to get or renew? Start planning for them now while we still have some time!

Here’s a quick list of ideas based on what I plan to do once the restrictions have been lifted.

Getting seriously ill from Covid-19 is not just a major inconvenience or a gigantic financial drain, it’s also potentially life threatening especially for those who are weak and/or elderly. With this new coronavirus going around and spreading like wildfire, it’s best to do everything we can to minimize the risk and stay healthy.

You may have already read these tips all over social media before, but it’s best to revisit them and remember. After all, it’s not just your health that’s at risk, but those of your parents and grandparents too.

What will you learn this year?

what will you learn this year your wealthy mind

It’s very easy to settle into a routine and do the same thing day after day, week after week, year after year. Unfortunately though, if you don’t actively try to change for the better, you’ll scramble to adapt when your world inevitably changes.

Just think about how years of unhealthy habits lead to health problems, and to be able to live normally you’ll be forced to change your diet, exercise, or take medications. Remember, we get older and weaker, prices get higher, and newer industries and technologies replace the old. That’s just how the world works.

Well if we’re going to change things anyway, why not have fun with it and learn new hobbies and stuff for the new year? After all, there’s a saying that if we’re not growing, we’re dying, and one way to keep ourselves mentally fit and young at heart is to try new things.

If you ask me for my plans this year, here are some new things I want to try:
